Smallest battery for bike with a PMA kit

Hi I wonder if anyone can help, I have fitted a PMA kit from Heiden Tuning and removed the electric starter. What is the smallest battery I can get away with if I want to run lights and indicators? The instructions with the kit say that it will only work with a gel or lead acid battery not an LI battery.

I have a PMA set up on a kick only XS and use a Ballistic lithium 4 cell battery. This battery has been used on this bike for three years with on problems. It is very small [aprox 3x3x4in] and weighs next to nothing. My PMA is the old fashioned type Honda stator, Banshee rotor and timing plate and Shindengen regulator....
