Springer Front End Spacer

Hey guys I have currently read through all the threads regarding springers. I currently have a DNA 2" under narrow springer. I have bought 1" trailer bearings and stock xs650 racers. The only thing I know I need to do is to cut the stem nut down to match the TCbros kit (its almost half the size). Once doing this do I need to add a spacer on the bottom of the triple tree that I need to add under the bearing? If so whats the size????

Any help on this issue would be much appreciated!
