Street tracker tires??

Duro, Maxis, etc. Can anyone give me some direction which way to go with tires for my '83 XS650 street tracker? Want it to look authentic but tire quality is most important (I hate to fall).
19 in the front, 18 in the rear. Wheels are off a 77 XS I think. Thanks for the help!! Mark C

I think no matter what they'll be a compromise on the street, but if you need DOT approved the list is pretty short. https://www.shinkotireusa.com/product/sr267268-flat-track/211925 , I have a set of their 705 80/20 dual sport tires on mine and am pretty happy.

Did you fit them to mudslinger rims? how was the fit? they list 110 / 80 x 19 for the front and they have
120 / 80 x 18 rear. should work

I'm running 120/70-17 front and 150/70-17 rear. So far I'm happy with the 705s, they grip pretty good on the street and lean into turns nicely. And they do give you the chunky dirt look.
