Doing the Evaporust method, as I had little luck with the Vinegar method to get the rust out of the tank. Had a heck of a time covering those petcock holes. Finally got some vinyl/rubber strip and taped it down hard and secured with the hardest hitting floor tape I could get. No Leaks! Finally. Gonna post pics to let you know how it works out.

This is what I did. It took a piece of rubber and a piece of aluminum. Easy enough.

Vinegar requires a little patience. I mixed two cups of phosphoric acid into a tank full of water and it went quick. My tank was very rusty and I decided to line it. If it had had a little rust here and there, I would have used Evapo-Rust or Metal Rescue.
