26º and a stiff breeze out of the North. Decided today was the day to put Tater up for the winter.

Dumped a little Stabil in the tank and cranked it up. After letting it warm up good, decided the best way to make sure the Stabil was well mixed and got into the carbs was to take a short ride.

2 miles @ less than 30 MPH, down to the other end of town and back.

I figure my face should thaw out around Easter.

That wind chil'll add up. As long as Trigger won't freeze up, I'll ride her.

If I was going to put a bike away for the winter I would probably run the gas out of the carbs and drain the tank and bring the tank inside.
