the adds have changed

I just noticed the adds are now generic and no longer XS650.
google is changing the site again.
I sure hope this comfortable place don't end up like the other motorcycle forums.

Yep things are back to how they used to be about two years ago. The ad spots that aren't taken by site sponsors like Voodoo Vintage, Hugh's Handbuilt, TC bros, Lowbrow, etc. are filled with generic google ads. The only change so far is the addition of the ad near the bottom that used to be only shown to guests. I'm still playing around with that one. I think the mix of ads will be more consistent after a couple of days once the system can factor in the changes.

That's too bad Travis. I for one was clicking on the adds so You could get paid. And I use their parts too.

No their ads are being shown as usual. They pay for a specific number of ads to be shown per month. Each time an ad is shown is called an impression. The unfilled impressions are now being filled with Google ads like they used to be less than 2 years ago. The google ads are secondary to the regular ads you're used to seeing.
