I am sure this subject has been beat to death but I am still having a problem selecting tires for my 1981.
(I am sure it is still fitted with the original Dunlop gold seal K 127's)
I am looking for a set of vintage/classic style tires which match the original style. I looked at the Dunlop K 70's but could not find the correct size for the rear. Any thoughts or idea's would be greatly appreciated.

I assume your bike has 16" rear?
Dunlop has at least these two tread patterns in 130/90-16
Dunlop K591’s were a favorite of mine long ago on my XJ650 Seca , I did however run an 18” front on that bike.
In the USA I’ve found 16” 591’s available for the Harleys rear (130/90-16) but have yet to find a source for a 19” front K591 ?
If those were still available, that may be a very good choice yet to this day .

Bob Lampheres in Tigard actually has a set of Dunlop 404’s fr & rr on the rack for a very good price. If you can accept the 404 front as good enough.

I happen to live not far from them and I did look at the tires. Not quite the style I am looking for but thanks for the info.
Yes, I was there tire comparing as well.
Dunlop K591’s were what I was searching for last weekend.
Cheers John in Tualitin.
