Total power loss

I have a friend working on his 1980 bobber project. Was running great until he did a wheelie, with the tach cable disconnected, as the front end came down, the tach cable swung into his key switch wires, and now the bike is lifeless. No power, no key clicking, nothing. Any ideas where he should start? Thx in advance!!

If he broke the key switch it will not run. Check the wires. They might have pulled out from the switch. The red wire goes to a fuse, then the battery, which would cause it to die. As will the brown wire which picks up the reg/rec. Have a wiring diagram. At least you know the key switch got hit, but that will cause a dead bike.
