I'm looking to put either a tc bros or monstercraftsman headlight bracket on my 83 xs. I went to look at the triple tree and noticed that the holes don't match up and seems to have the front brake cable anchored on there. Has any found a way around this or know of another similar bracket I could use to mount my triangle headlight?

Trade out those two rubber hoses for a one piece stainless steel line. This is a good upgrade you should do even if you use a stock headlight.

Here is your fixer! Just came across this last night as well. Mount the splitter on the other hole and take a 3/16 bit and drill a small hole for that doll coming out of the splitter. You will need to grind the banjo bolt head down a bit for clearance. I am sure there may be another way but this was easy and gets the job done.
