It won't take you very far but it lets you get at your carb adjustments real easy.
Very creative Fred! Its a great way to save weight too.............................just stop more often to refuel.
I'm saying it's Fred's xs1100....
That's the tank that comes with the 80cc two stroke engine kits for bicycles that are sold on ebay. I met two young guys that were riding these bikes a while ago. Both bikes had the baffles removed from the mufflers. Both of them riding together was louder than any gas engine that I've ever heard, even aircraft, I almost begged them to ride one, looked like fun.

you got it, that's my "Flying Pumpkin" XS11/SofA rig that I'm waking up after it's 2-year hibernation.
Which is why I needed good access to the bike's 4 carburettors and rigged up the tiny tank for that reason.
I bought that tank for $2 at a swapmeet and guessed that it came off a moped, Scott, thanks for the confirmation.
And retiredgentleman, I reckon with the moped tank the rig would get about 8 miles before running out of gas.
