Just joined today. Might as well jump in there with my 1st post.

Just finished installing my Pamco on my XS650C along with a new advance unit, advance rod and the ulimate high-output coil (#17-6903, 82 Kv ignition coil).

What do I need to do with the (orange, gray, etc.) wiring ends that came off of the wiring from the points, factory ignition coils (2), and condenser pack?

Should I simply put a cable tie around these wires and tuck em' out of the way?

Thanks!

Welcome to the forum, but this intro is weak because:

You can utilize some of the existing wires for your Pamco install (at least one of the old points-to-coil wires, orange or gray - your choice) .....

I left my condenser pack in place and plugged both it's leads into the double end of the unused orange wire. I capped over the other end of the orange wire. My set-up is rigged to switch back easily to points should the need ever arise (Pamco failure, Heaven forbid).
