Do you have a valve guide removal tool? I would put the head in a oven and then use the valve guide tool to knock it out.
I soak most of my rusted stuff in Evaporust
Before removing valve guides one needs to religiously clean them with cartridge rolls, or even better mill them down until they are flush with the head or else one will pull all the muck and grime through the honed guide base bore.
Heat the oven up and then use a cold shock spray on the guide and knock it out when rh some hard "dry" knocks.
Similar procedures apply to driving in guides.
