What happened to the top motor mounts on the frame? Looks good but i'm curious.

Thats the way I bought it. But I was wondering the exact same thing so I did a little picture research and saw that there are actually a lot of xs's without the top motor mount.. But now that its been brought up does anybody know if this is a bad thing? Is it advised that I weld a top motor mount back on?

You should just put it back on the trailer and bring it on over, k?

Its also missing the neck gusset and upper brace. This gets mixed opinions of how it effects the frame strength - especially long term. Here is a recent thread that shows pics of what the upper frame should look like;

Its been ridden like this before and the person I bought it from had no complaints when I asked him the same thing..

I personally don't think it would be a huge issue. If you did experience any issues or wanted to be sure about strength and reliablity then I'd look into some of the weld in options;

Yea. That's another toy I have waay too much money and time in. It's a track bike set up to AMA super bike specs. I have the street plastics on it now
