I have read posts that the shock mounts need to be moved in. I could see this when i mocked it up. I am about to cut them off and i'm assuming that the aim to have the lower mounts at the same width as the top mount? Is this correct? I also think that they are mounted a little further back on the Radian but as I have 14 inch shocks this suits i may even tweak them a little further back.

Yes, same as the top. 14" is a long shock so you might wind up over the axle slot. Be sure to check the chain to shock clearance when you mock it up. Chain guard is another story. Here`s what I used with a 12 1/2" shock
