Vintage Yamaha Rally 2017 (XS Southeast)

The Vintage Yamaha Rally, otherwise known as XS Southeast 2017 will be held at the Iron Horse Motorcycle Lodge on 22 through 25 September.

If you were a guest for the 2016 event, they give you 30 days from checkout to claim the same space for next year. The rest of the resort is saved for our event until about 15 January. If you reserve now, they don't hit your credit card until 60 days from the event.

We're still working on the details for the '17 event. We have a few months to put it all together, but trust we are already working on it. We're encouraging riders of vintage Yamahas 25 years or older to join in the fun.

Thanks for bringing it up. I have good reason. Folks at the 2016 event have 30 days from checkout to keep their room. That expires in a few days. The whole resort is reserved for XS Southeast until about 15 January. After that, space is open to the general public for reservations. It's a popular rally at a popular resort. It's going to sell out. If you want to sleep on a bed, there's no time like the present to make a reservation. They don't hit your credit card until 60 days from the event. Also, I'm working hard to get the 650 group involved. There are a lot of them, and in varied trim. I want the resort to sell out to vintage Yamaha folks.

This is a no fee rally. Just show up on your vintage Yamaha. Yes, it would be nice to let us know you're coming, but not required. (do that here: https://www.facebook.com/events/1229500693755146/) Contact the Iron Horse directly to make your reservation. If you procrastinate you'll have to plan on bringing your tent. Rooms will go quickly. That is why I'm posting now.

I hope to see a lot of XS650's in September.

We'll take ya, whatever you ride! Wisconsin is a long haul on an XS650. The Venture will tow it.

Merry Christmas! It's time to think about 2017. We have the resort reserved for a couple more weeks. After that, the general public has access. I'd like nothing better than to see nothing, but vintage Yamaha enthusiasts at the Iron Horse during our event. I don't want to see a Harley or a BMW unless you rode it in! Let's fill the place up.

It is, and you should come. You would be joining at least a handful of Canadians who attend this event every year. A straight shot down I75 will put you very close.

If you want to sleep on a bed, you should make your reservation right now! You may cancel up until 60 days out without penalty.
