So, I got my brand new Jeep Grand Cherokee and I'm loving it, but I found out it isn't bullet proof. I was on my way to visit my daughter and son-in-law last Sunday afternoon when something hit the Jeep hard on the left front fender. After closer inspection, it looks like a shotgun slug hit the fender right near the headlight. The slug must have been pretty well spent, because it didn't go all the way through the fender. The estiment is $371.00 to fix it.
But, that's not the scary part, if I had been on a bike, it would have hit me somewhere in the knee, or my left hand, or in my chest. That really puts chills up my spine. There is a numb nuts out there somewhere who is unaware he killed a Jeep instead of a deer.
