Not sure... 80's didn't use 75' points.... so I wonder if the 80 cam has the pin holes for the advance unit.. and cam lobe.. ? Was the 80 cam neutered by the EPA .. ? Different spec's ? Perhaps someone has a 80 cam sitting on the bench and can eyeball the pin holes ?
Many had issues trying to fitting bushings for advance rods into the later TCI cams, result would be a cracked cam end. My theory was the bushing bores were no longer being final reamed to size. 
On the other hand they were installing bushings from MikesXS...........

Here are pics of a cam I recently picked up. Pin hole is present and same location at TDC mark. No bushings present on either end unless someone took them out....not bloody likely! Lol I installed the bronze bushings in a cam before just need to take your time and sand down the edges of the bushing. Put a bit of grease and tapped in no trouble. I have NOS labyrinth bushings to install when my ignition fails and I replace with my backup Boyer. Hope this helps someone. JC
