What happened to Gordon Scott Engineering?

He was pretty good to check in while he was in business, so I would say yes, he is out of business. He really only started bending pipes for his own amusement and use (or at least that was my take on it). His pipe designs have been copied by others so you should be able to find look-a-likes.
 
His website was up not too long ago, but he was not taking custom orders, only what he was making at the time.
 
Would an auto shop with a bender be able to make such nice radius. i have a guy out my way that " makes custom exhaust" but im wondering if i would be better off building a wooden buck and using a press.

Hi Travis B,
making nice bends in thin walled tube is best left to experts and expensive machinery.
There's folks who will sell you a pile of 90º and 180º bends and a bunch of straight bits
that you trim to angle, cut to length and weld together.
OK, it'll look like bamboo when it's done but some like that look.
