Very nice Rude. Didn't the 9F's have the spoiler on the rear tailpiece also, like the 750 had? the 650 is just plain beautiful!

Very observant racerdave, not many can pick up intricate changes to 30+ yo bikes, guess we are showing our age eh?
I shortened the rear seat cowl, moved the tail light in and cut off the "lip" or spoiler, in my eyes the spoiler and rear plastics were too bulky for a modern look, I've still got the original painted spoiler, easy to retrofit. For this cut down version I used a damaged one out of the box of spares

"Back in the day" I was a Kawi 650-1000 guy. The 650-900-1000 duckbill's just looked cool! I liked the look Honda came out with on the 79 SuperSports, The tank/sidecovers/tailpiece just flowed so well together.

Gotta agree the Kwaka 900's........and don't forget the triples they looked/still look great.
my best mate had a freddie spencer style silver CB750 when I was riding a Ducati Darmah (SD900), it had the same spoiler styling on the rear seat cowl (I still pine for the Duke 20 years after selling it)
Someones going to complain about this non XS banter:wink2:
