What is this part from ? Help im so lost

Hey guys,
I was pulling out the shifter forks and the drum out of the case, and when I had pulled off every thing off that case that I could think of this little part fell out. I thought it was a part to go with the cam stopper but every diagram I've seen this part is not imaged so I have no real clue where it goes can someone help. Thank you

On some years the shift fork/drum locater pins are two piece it may be one of those two pieces.

The first pic, that looks to be the sleeve that goes onto the tip of a shift fork pin, fits into one of the cam/grooves in the shiftdrum.

Second pic, same sleeve, with neutral detent plunger, spring and cap...
