What year is this tank?

Hi all, took this tank I bought on Fleabay and the side panels to the paint shop today, so while it's away I want to refurbish the fuel taps and need to buy a tank cap. I'm not sure what year it is though - I think it's a '77 but would like to be sure before buying the bits. 42mm bolt spacing of course.

Anybody know for sure?

Looks like a UK/European model 78/79.

Thanks, beano. All I could find when searching was this but I don't know if it's trustworthy. I'll follow up on your source though.
