What's this little seal for?

Ordered this seal kit, and this little seal was included....

Tach seal in the right hand cover I do believe.

Thanks, Superjet. I don't see where the right hand cover has a seal for the tach. I'll have to take a closer look....

I think it is inside below the cable drive. I do believe it is why its slotted / removable.

There is a sleeve (#1) fitted into the front of the cover that the tach cable attaches to. The seal (#3) goes inside that sleeve .....
