Worked over on the Central Coast of Calif. 2 weeks ago. Morning marine layer, cleared up around 11am, never got over 70...bliss.
Last week in my hometown it didn't get over 95. This week will be 101 thru Sunday...I'm over it

A week after the heavy rains the clean up is in full swing.
Much of this park was 3-4' underwater. a nice coat of stinky mud on everything. Went and helped with cleanup.
Just some pretty contour farming in the Baraboo bluffs.

It's best to err' on the side of "this is gonna be bad." Imagine the consequences of saying it ain't gonna be that bad.... and then it is. People would be calling for forecasters heads...

Haha, plus he's leaning in the wrong direction, background banner showing 29mph wind. Seen some other outtakes like that over the years. Announcer casually standing in a breeze, giving instructions to the camera guy, then "action". Full-blown drama follows...

Yeah, like when I call a friend of mine in Mailman's vicinity, in February, and ask him "...what's the wind-chill in Tucson today?..." 
Up until the beginning of September, +90-100°F, hot, dry, 40+days of drought. Most of the grass has burned off.
Now, after 2+ weeks of constant rain, 70's, everything is greening up.
Same buck, same spot.
