So I got me some Harley wheels... I was told they are from a 2000 Dyna Wide Glide. A 21in front and 16in rear. After doing some searching, I understand I will have to have axles and spacers fabbed up, and my axle plates adjusted to make things fit... I would like to run a TC Bros springer eventually so the front should be easier.

My question is for those who are running HD wheels... which brake calipers should I focus on to getting? So I don't have to fab up caliper brackets as well. Am trying to cut down on having to custom make things. I just wanna ride!!! :D My wheels came with disks from the Dyna btw.

Thanks for any info...

Mike

Most springers dont have mounts on them to use brakes. Its up to you to either make something work or buy a 'kit'. For the rear, it would depend on if you are building a swingarm bike or a hardtail... if swinger then the dyna caliper, if hardtail I'd say softail caliper (they have a triangular swingarm).
