i am trying to clean up my bars. i cant seem to find a trhottle housing to work and not break the bank. which one are you all using? will a single cable dirt bike housing work?

I decided not to go with a housing at all. Check out the twist grips for motocross bikes. No housing necessary. Looks really clean.
Even better is a throttle grip with an internal cable connection. Then you run the cable through the hadlebars. They are expensive though i.e. 100+ dollars.
