A guy on a gun board I hang out on posted a picture of one of these and I said something about how cool that would look in my Man Cave.
There are a BUNCH of pilots on that board, private, commercial and military. One of them took it upon himself to send me one as a gift!
The Altimeter is a clock and the Airspeed is a thermometer.
That place is the gun version of this place: A lot of generous, very knowledgeable and friendly members.
Wow, thats really cool DE! Sounds like a great group. Those would be a great addition to any Vet's ManCave! I'm always on the lookout for shipboard instrumentation, navigation equip, and random flotsam to decorate with.
