Fore sale - 1979ish XS650 brat style matching engine frame numbers, location gloucestershire UK
If anyone is interested in taking it on please make a sensible offer.
Work done , frame powder coated , Newtronic electronic ignition fitted , complete new rear swing arm pivot bolt sleeve etc, taper roller head bearings , front and rear callipers new pistons seals, starter motor blanked off ( starter motor still available, front break lever and master cylinder, clutch leaver assembly, clutch cable, stator replaced with working second hand unit, rectifier/regulator replaced, crankcase breather and filter and carbs rebuilt but not setup 100%, drive chain.
Although i do ride it ( no lights wired so daytime MOT only) and its MOTd selling as an ongoing project as the pictures will confirm. Seat is also a temp fitting with tie wraps.
The wiring has been completed to get an MOT only its no master piece but solid, ignition is dead on the original switch gear so wired in simple switch. Tank is in need on refurbishment but is fuel tight.
Starts usually on upto 5th kick when i get it right. On my last ride out the gear lever slipped around the drive shaft so i have fitted a larger bolt with nut (it still slips a bit but i havnt yet fully tightened, spline shaft is quite worn). Many parts including spare side cover (clutch) rev counter.
