Just wondered if anyone mite be running a full Bub exhaust system with contis mufflers.
Just wanted to get there thoughts on it. I just picked up a full NOS. System. Not sure if I'll be using the headers. May have to shorten the length for my project.
    Thanks

The full length "Bub Contis" which they don't produce anymore sounded really good. The regular bubs or the contis where in my opinion the best
    sounding mufflers for the 277.

Just a little louder than I liked but caught attention. I’d buy another set if so came across another bar deal like that lol.

Those look really good mounted on the XS. The contis are non packable with louvered baffle and would sound just like those. You got lucky
    scoring those;)

I really had a hard time with this ebay seller. Bad just bad. Anyway got the pipes this morning. And they are new never mounted. There is a number I'm guessing the bub part number ? Iv tried looking it up but have not been able to find it. And with the trouble I had with the seller I'm kinda worried. Also I don't see the word BUB anywhere.

I have a BUB Conti replica system on my Moto Guzzi and it's not stamped with the BUB name anywhere I've seen. I had BUB slip-on mufflers on one of my BMWs and they did have the BUB name stamped on them, on the welded-on mounting bracket. So it seems some came marked, some not.

Ok thanks ! Trying to find that number is throwing me off. When I seen numbers listed for the system. It is all 1 peice head to tail and very nice welds. I'm happy as a lark to have found it.

They are supposed to be one of the nicest 650 systems out there. In fact, if you read the Minton Mods article, that's when they came out. Motorcyclist went to BUB and asked him to make a system for them and their upcoming "Mods" article. He used to make lots of nice systems for oddball bikes back then. He made lots of Moto Guzzi and BMW systems, and even one for that XV920R, the Euro chain drive Virago. Then he went all cruiser and Harley. Now he's retired and even though the BUB company is still out there, he's not a part of it, he sold it.
