You know thats pretty nice. Your previous post didn't do it justice. I'll think about it. 2k is a bit much because I'm going to be building a bobber out of whatever I get

yeah ill be 100% honest with you, I bought it from a friend in TN for $1500. when I bought it, it had the dents in the tank, right brake lever had a small piece broken off, the blinker switch is missing the little plastic thumb actuated button, seat is perfect minus the yamaha lettering on the back has faded to probly 75%. the electric start works 50% of the time, how ever when it doesnt work it sounds like the starter gear isnt fully engaging because it trys to start but just doesnt.(a new starter is pretty cheap) kick start works perfect. once I got it down here I spent a couple hours shining the chrome which had a little surface rust. last night I ordered a new clutch cable because the old one was wearing through and im pretty sure it was the same one from 75, and I also ordered new brake lever and hardware. so with paying $1500 for the bike $200 for parts and trailer to get it here, and cleaning/working ive done to it I think its worth $2000. not to meantion the bike runs great and you could easly sale the parts you dont want on here.

I'm quite aways from you but I have a 1983 650 Special with 7xxx miles, as near perfect as you will find(Original) except it has been painted.Seat, exhaust, pegs and controls, perfect. Charging system good. $1500 Located in central Mo.
