Right now I'm listening to...

One of my all time favorite guitarists David Gilmour. He may not be the flashiest rock guitarist but he has an undeniably unique style , his guitar solos are soaring. His passion still burns he still has his chops and his voice is still great. I have been on a jag with this one lately. Maybe because it hits close to home.

Remember when you were young? You shone like the sun!
I'm a big Pink Floyd fan. My wife passed away a year ago, and Wish You Were Here makes me think of her every time. Off topic, but I see you are in Avondale. I'm going to be down near Portal in Feb and March. Any other XSers in the area?

RIP Malcolm.

An honourable goal indeed! How'd that work out Dude? Waking up in the tank woulda been the pièce de résistance.
:laugh2:

Well, it seemed to have been a big party night in the neighborhood on Saturday, so my Rock and Roll Thunder didn't rise far above the din coming from next doors. So, the handcuffs didn't emerge :) Much fun, however, playin' the Best of AC/DC. Glad you appreciate, Queenslegs.

Used to be kinda an anthem of mine. If Steve and the Dukes play this tomorrow night I could lose my mind. Some friggin bad ass cymbal smashing on this one lads, listen for it...

Steve Earl is so great. So you got to see him the other night? I'm jealous! He's had such a rough life, every mile shows on his face and he sings with such feeling. This is a longtime favorite of mine.

Watched and listened to the live broadcast concert of Neil Youngs Hometown performance in his hometown of Omemee Ontario last night. Wow, he put on a great show.
This is obviously someone in the crowd recording part of it but hey it's something. I'm sure this will be released on DVD soon.

On Friday, CTV said proceeds from the show would be donated to the local Scott Young Public School, named after Neil’s father who was a novelist, journalist and early host of Hockey Night in Canada.
