Hey welcome to the forum!

The site and forum were launched just under two months ago. The reason the forum layout looks familiar is because most big forums are using vBulletin software. It's definitely not free but it's the best. There are other xs650 forums out there, but they are using free forum software. That and they clean layout are what make this site so great. vBulletin will be releasing version 4 soon which is a major upgrade and will change the design of the entire website. XS650.com has already pre-purchased version 4 and will be upgrading as soon as it's released to give members the best site experience possible. There are a lot of great features with version 4 so I'm pretty excited about it.

Your build is looking good! Maybe next time we can get a video where we don't have to turn our heads 90 degrees to watch it. :D haha.. Just messing with you! Keep us posted on your progress!

Thank's for the heads up! :D I am a member of 650rider forum also, but I can hardly get two replies to a thread over there! :( I was excited when i found this site...and here I have a response to my thread in the same Day!! :D AWESOME!! are you the Admin?? I'm the saftey Equip moderator on the Fz6 forum and a Super Mod on the sister site Fz6r forum... will there be a photo gallery soon?? sorry i have lot's of question's!! :D

Yes I am the site admin also. I usually post forum features and policy related things as XS650, and personal things as Travis. 650rider has a good member base, but I think the site is lacking in other areas where this one can shine.

I have big plans for the site and a photo gallery is definitely up on the priority list. A lot of features that are planned are going to wait until vB 4.0 so everything doesn't have to be coded twice. We will also have member Blogs so everyone can have a place to post builds and pictures and whatever they want. I'm not sure if we'll be called it 'Blogs' though as many people don't understand or like the name. vB 4.0 has full site integrated search, photo albums, a social networking feature where you have a facebook like 'wall', better private messages, an attachment manager, single sign-on for the entire site and it's features, and tons of other great features. A lot of effort will be put into keeping the site simple to navigate and use. Sometime there are so many features and buttons on a forum or site that people don't even know where to start or how to find things. Hopefully it can be done in such a way that people who want to continue to use just the forum can do that easily and then explore the other site features and tools as they feel comfortable.

Edit: I just turned on Albums since they will integrate into vB 4.0 easily. Once we go to vB 4.0, they will be improved.

What exhaust is that? Looks cool.

Is it just me or does that engine sound funny? Maybe its just the camera.
