LastTracker Build Thread

Looking great as usual Phil...love the stance.:D
With the addition of 'tracker holes' you should notice a significant better cooling of the cylinder.
Since this is your last build, maybe use that BBK on this one.:bike:
I`m seriously thinking 750 but it will take another $1000 on top of what I have in the BBK.

I got the motor back from Jim last Sat. and was inspired to go out in the garage and actually do some work on it.:yikes: Jim did a complete top end job and new clutch. What a meticulous job. I can`t say thanks enough. I should have it all buttoned up next week. I didn`t use the 750 kit because if I did I wouldn`t have any excuse to build another one even though this is my last tracker?

For years I had to drive to KC to get any metal or aluminium I needed. They finally opened a store here in Topeka. It`s called "Metal By The Foot". They have a huge stock of aluminium, steel, chrome moly, brass, copper etc in most sizes and shapes. The KC store has laser cutter and water jet I`m told. They have a web site with prices.

COOL - thanks!

Now which state is KANSAS City in....hmmmmmm....lemme see now.....oh yeah, its NOT in Kansas.

Yup - that makes perfect sense. ;)

Honey Do`s completed it`s back to business. Installed the clamps to hold the rear brake line, Fit the under seat electronics tray, and finally roughed in a chain guard. Don`t laugh at the double welds on the rear chain guard bracket, it had to be done like that.

The 1/2 mile pipes from Hoos Racing came and with a few tweaks mocked up and ready for brackets to mount. Not much left before the swing arm, pipes, motor mounts etc are going to the chrome shop. Frame still needs a couple of brackets for the pipes and a good going over before it goes to the "expensive" powder coater.
