New here, need some help!!

Not saying he's wrong more so just hoping hah! Don't want to have to go that far with it. Didn't really want to get a bike that I had to completely rebuild and I'm starting to get so fed up with it not going to lie.. hard to dedicate all this time to it with a family, thought it was gonna be a quick fix which is only reason I bought it ha.. sounds bad I know but thought I would get lucky w a decent priced bike w only one issue haha. I actually don't know if it burns if I set it on fire, I might be able to try it over the weekend haha. So where the carbs were connected just pour oil in those holes is that what you mean? What would I look for doing that to see if there was or wasn't a problem? As for compression yes it does have compression

This is a road almost everyone of us has walked . Done a deal that was not perfect.
Remember my tale about bikes that never ran.again
It is difficult to get everything right even if one has many years experience.
Having said that .. problems and challenges is a part of it buying or even get an old bike for free.
The oil in via spark plug holes without any dirt or so coming with it.
It can help loosening things up and getting some oil on cylinder walls.
Better for rings and bore.
If we are aiming at riding without taking it apart.
About an egg cup oil in each cylinder.
Compression is there is good. Still hope .Most bikes need carburetor service and the ignition
will wake up as it seems. Nothing strange.
The green stuff .might not have entered the cylinder if some luck
But if it has ..then i think it is better if it burns and can clear out after a while.
I think this one will run.

Honestly, if it wasn't for all of you guys I'd probably have sold it and not done half of this. You guys helping are the only reason I'm still doing it so I do have to thank you guys for everything!! I am gonna try to light some of that stuff on fire and I'll let you know. What is an egg cup? And I literally just pour it in the spark plug hole? Should I use a funnel or do anything after I pour it in? I hope your right, almost everything is no new and replaced and rebuilt on this bike if it doesn't I'm out lol

egg cup
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Egg_cup
and yes use a funnel
don't need to do anything besides put the spark plug back.
Lets see if we can do This .. as I mentioned I like the bike ..Not all are mint and perfect
Some Chinese Philosopher said .... " Real Things have imperfections "
A wash perhaps .. ?

Never in my life have I seen an egg cup so you definitely learn something new everyday! Isn't that the truest quote ... Thanks for the tip though I'm gonna do it!

My vote is for continuation. Might be a different story if needed as critical transportation. Pick away at it and the demons will be exorcised. As they say in Spanish - poco a poco - little by little. Best wishes.....................

So I did what you said.. and it seems as if my bikes locked up now. It's super tight to try to kick it, didn't have this much of a hard time kicking it before putting that in... Did I mess up my bike now or is that a normal reaction? Did an egg cup full each side.

Are the spark plugs out when your kicking it? If you put oil into the cylinder the you have to clear out of the cylinder through the spark plug holes by kicking it or you get a hydraulic lock .

Yeah, sounds like you were compressing oil.....good thing you didn't use the double yolk size eggcup......
Egg cups and the little hourglass for perfect soft boiled eggs, don't see them any more.

Keep in mind that when you get to fire this engine up you may get a bunch of oil smoke until she cleans. Don't be alarmed too much.

So wait, team your saying pour oil, then leave spark plugs out then kicking it over? I put the spark plugs back like janp said unless I misunderstood him.. I used a pair of old spark plugs not my new ones tho side note. And yeah kicking it I can already smell the gunk and stuff I can't imagine when it runs lol.. but yeah so I think I got hydraulic lock. It's loosened up now, please tell me i didn't completely f up? Lol

No not any big thing

don't need to do anything besides put the spark plug back.

My meaning was to have the oil in there while the Carburetor was serviced
Dissolving any " Green Stuff " and getting a little oil on the rings and cylinder wall.
Over time.
I once did it put in to much and it took a while before . I could start it and out on the road was a huge Smoke cloud before it was gone.

If I am thinking right here that lock up indicates that the valve seats can be good. reducing the need for a top end tear down

Oil as a bit thick to be using as a penitent.

4 strokes rely on combustion, if you have to much fluid that will not compress, (Water, oil), the piston will lock up as it cannot travel any more. This can and will snap con-rods and damage cranks.

Don't panic, in your case it may have been just a little to much, but not enough to do damage.

Oil in the petrol will create carbon build up on 4 strokes, so not a good idea in the long run. May have to use something else and drain the oil from the motor and flush with kerosene. In fact Kerosene would probably be better to use to dissolve the green stuff.

While kicking over with the plugs out ( key off of course) spray some carb cleaner into the intakes to dislock any loose spudge in the chambers. Follow with some more oil and then kick it some more to clear the oil out. Will make a big mess and will prevent mosquitos when you first fire it up because of the oil in the exhaust.
Best shot at getting it to run with tearing into stuff.

My View
Please do not pour in any solvents in the combustion chamber like Kerosene or petrol
just yet
I don't really like the carb cleaner either even if is followed with oil

Even if they are better solvents .the cylinder wall can be bone dry and worse and the rings can stick a bit
in their grooves.
With oil in and being there for a while is again not the best solvent
But it does not do harm. And can prevent a scratch or so .... And slowly dripping down
to other rings
I doubt any harm is done ... when I made the mistake the kick was feeling like a stone
I am 85 Kg
Human force is not much in these situations.
Perhaps i got this from from Military service it was compulsory. then
Cleaning the assault rifle nothing else than weapons grease was allowed and it was more time consuming.
But spared the weapon

The few times I have inserted pistons with new rings I have also had lots of oil there sparing the surfaces.
If oil is in there now --- Mean while there is work to do on the carburetors
Further on in time something can be inserted via the spark plug hole to see how it looks coming out again
if green then we can take it to the next level like # 118

Right now there are indications
Valves are tight since the engine froze up
Pistons cant be totally gone either .
Sparks has been seen .. weak but still seen
The carburetor appears serviceable.
Not out of the woods yet but these are positive signs. Looks like a soon running bike right now
I would wait letting the oil be there a while but this is not an exact science.
Piston rings do break ..I would feel bad if it happens because no oil is there.in a situation
with no time constraints.

Later on the oil situation with filters is a inspection point ..How the filters look if any metal particles
on them..
