You should look into how many "Springfield's" we haveYou guys are awesome. So many states....and so many Kansas Cities....
Stood back and looked at the 1/2 mile pipes again and decided the kick up on the RH pipe was too abrupt.
More of a modern sport bike look and not racy enough so I ended up taking some of the angle out and repositioned both pipes.
Made a couple of hangers and tabs. (I`ve already changed my mind about the tabs though). The hangers will look a lot better when I get some holes or slots in them.
Tomorrow`s project.

I found that trying to blend out some of the ugly factory welds was a slippery slope. Once you do one they all look like they need it.
This build bike has the worst factory welds of all the builds I`ve done. It will take at least 2 full days to clean up the frame before powder coat. The hammered gray powder coat I use hides everything but it still has to be prepared correctly first.

Never noticed them before. I've seen the Suzuki (I think) stars, but not those that I can recall. Looks good
I love how nice powder coating looks. I had even considered powder coating my gas tank before deciding to send it to Jim.
Hi Tom. It`s the same gray powder coat as the other 4 of my builds but the pic was taken with the LED garage lights on, the sun shining in and the flash on the camera was on. Looks lighter than it actually is.Looks great...is that a new color?
I`m out of excuses, time to do something. I put the motor in the frame by the usual lay it on it`s side method. Much easier with that modification to the right side of the frame. Lots of clearance now. Sorta installed the front fork assy and wheel. Seems like I`ve done all this stuff before??
