I've been looking for a donor bike with good chrome to replace rusted fenders and wheels on my 73 I've been slowly restoring. This bike came up for sale and he wanted more than I was willing to pay. Low and behold he called me back a week later and took my offer of $300. BUT, the more I look at this bike, the more it says it just might be worth restoring instead of parting. Motor and frame matches. Chrome and wheels in great shape. Only things missing are the seat, signals, and mufflers. Even has original tool pouch with all the tools. Key in the ignition and of course the owner said "i drove it here a year ago and it ran good." Instruments are in good shape. Odometer reads 13,000. Wasn't looking for another restoration project....what to do?

Do the right thing and rebuild her......You know it makes sense! Although your wallet might not agree!!

Definitely torn. No title but not that hard to get one in MI. Had to do it for the 73. Anyone have decent fenders and wheels for a TX650 they'd wanna part with? Been researching rechroming and not too many shops seem to do it, at least not in Michigan.
