Had our annual spring bike start-up for our MSF courses. We rode on the big range for a few hours as a ā€œrefresherā€. I didnā€™t take any pics because I was having too much fun! Today, more Fā€™ing snow!

Last sunday, I got a trip with my little TX. Took something about 150 miles. On the road was so smooth...
Tryed to found a fall in the middle of Canavial. Cities nearly of home, state of SĆ£o Paulo. I crossed the TiĆŖte river, one the bigest at state. There where lot of mud on the road, so I gave up. I will try another day.

Beautiful! Welcome to group and thanks for posting the pics.

Friend showed up on his new to him DT50. Liquid cooled 10000rpm 2 stroke 50cc. He has other legal 2strokes, Beta 300 included. Except for a couple cocktails I would have taken it for a spin, even in 37degrees F.View attachment 238369
This fellow, Colin, was runner up "Teacher of the Year" 2008 or 2009. He has a passion for instilling machining, mechanical, metal work knowledge in his students. I have a few nice bits he gave to students as " class room" projects. Those of you who have fit Virago risers know this piece.

The rains here in Central California finally let up so I put a few miles on the Husky.

She sounds like a paint shaker but has never left me stranded. What more could you ask for??

I had a "Big Box" store mower with a 16 hp twin. At the end of it's life I ditched the mower deck and changed the transaxle shieve size (and belt length) and ended up with a tractor that went 15-16 mph and did pretty good wheelies in my neighborhood cul de sacs.:D

Well antibellum literally means "before the war" so the usage is correct, if not politically correct.
Yes, but that house is 200 years old, predating the war by a long period. I understood the US antebellum period to begin around 1830? Mississippi joined the union in 1817, so this house came at the beginning. I just learned this morning about the age of that house.

"The Antebellum Period in American history is generally considered to be the period before the Civil War and after the War of 1812, although some historians expand it to all the years from the adoption of the Constitution in 1789 to the beginning of the Civil War."
