Hi, sorry for not responding sooner, I don't come onto this site very often (as you may already have worked out!).
It is a 1999 US 49 state grey import into the UK and I have had it since 2003.
I have fitted Mikuni flatslides, had it bored to 1300cc and the heads ported. I'm getting about 140 rwhp (c. 118 std). It goes quite well!!
I've extensivly changed the rest of the bike as well so it stops better, goes round corners quicker than I can and (IMHO) looks good.
I've neary done all that I intend so that at long last I can start work on the XS 650 flat tracker project that is currently awaiting my attention.
