Hi Charlie , would it be possible to list the 8 bikes that had a 245mm rear disc or front for that matter , dish or bolt pattern won't matter as I'm going to machine an adaptor to suit but the 245mm is the only measurement I can't Change as this is the distance from centre of axle to extreme of...
Hi Charlie , that catalog you speak of would help a lot , I've ordered a Ducati rear disc but if I can get something to fit without machining an adaptor plate that would save time and effort .
Is it possible to email the catalog ?
[BHi peeps ,
I'm fitting a rear brake hanger off a Ducati to the XS and need a disc with a diameter of 245mm of which I've a few but all have a far larger hole size in the centre which would require an adaptor of some kind making up .
So can anybody shed any light by either :-

The old spindle may be an option but swapping wheel ain't as want mags front and rear to match , may just have electronic speedo as cable type are hassle anyway .
The brakes issue is most important to be honest , think I will try pick up some cheap 320mm discs with the required offset and go...
Hi all
Managed to press XS stem into gsxr yokes and got it all fitted , sorted steering lock , now I'm using XS wheels I'm having disc issues in that the Xs larger discs aren't big enough for the gsxr brakes .
If I swap to gsxr discs I will have to adapt some mounts no doubt to suit XS wheel...
Your shocks look fine but just not the look I'm after on my bike , chrome in the Damp old UK pits about 10 mins after fitting lol .
£300 uk pounds is still low end cost as wilbers shocks $1500 and ohlins the same , I've had cheap gas shocks on another bike and they were pants to be honest ...
Yes but the Hagon ones are pretty boring looking don't you think ?
I know its about how good they work but I'd like them to work as good as they look , regards mark
Sorted it now but cheers all the same , as for pics I've tried posting before with no luck , ain't you got to load them via photo bucket or similar first then on the site ?
Ok cheers Leo for the advice , so the answer to the question is sort of If I buy shocks listed as sport derived bike they will be stiffer with less sag . Its only the fact I don't want to waste $600 on shocks that ain't right , but hey it's all a learning curve I guess on my first build
Hi all
I'm trying to choose some shocks with a longer travel of 360mm for my street tracker project but shocks of this length that will fit are designed for heavier bikes .
XS650 is 200kg or so and the bikes that have these shocks ( YSS TOPLINE RANGE ) are about 260kg and these are adjustable...
