I’m doing well. On vacation at the moment and haven’t done much else on the bike. When I get home, i plan on doing a complete tear down under the watchful eye of my friend who has been building bikes for most of his life. Looking forward to it.

Okay, please forgive my ignorance on this matter. Can someone give me a rough estimate on what a bike like this will cost to make get in good running order? I understand there are a lot of unknown variables here. I have expensive hobbies (saltwater fishing, cigars, firearms, and few others)...

The main reason I bought the new harness is because the wiring is a bit brittle, (sat in a barn for half a decade) and frankly because I don’t know any better. I figured the new harness would be a preemptive solution to future wiring issues. But seeing as how everyone and his brother is against...

If the wiring has been molested by previous owners, at some point, replacement is certainly more efficient. Lol. Fair enough.

Time is a biggest factor. I work 60 hours a week. But appreciate the feedback.

Yesterday, I had the change to inspect the wiring situation and decided to just buy a new harness. Tires are in dire shape as well.
