Uh-oh...If I dood it, I get in trouble!

A friend had one and back then when it was new and I was many, many years younger and lighter, I could barely get in and out of the car. Lol

    Workshop heater install.

When I installed my diesel heater I put in a $25 CO monitor. Never registered anything with the heater running but fire up the bike for a minute and it’s screaming at me. Only reason I put the monitor in was when I first bought the heater, the seal between the heat exchanger exhaust port and...

    Workshop heater install.

These heaters do not introduce combustion byproducts into your heated area, therefore there should be zero CO and no condensation. They’re also relatively quiet. One of my best purchases.

    Workshop heater install.

Had mine running all winter and was very happy with the performance. Time to remove it soon and store it for the warm seasons.

    Speaking of First Ride

I recall way back when I was into 4wd trucks (but not Jeeps), it was a common occurrence for these vehicles to handle rather poorly. Wide tires on uneven roads made for some interesting drives. Mind you that was back in the ‘80’s. I’m sure tire and suspension tech has come a long way since then.

It followed me home, I swear.

} Fantastic find! Love the look of the T500 and yours looks equally cool. Can’t wait to see the completed project and read your road test results. I should start ear;y and start looking for next winter’s project now. Congrats!🎉🎉

    JesseeS Build Thread

Great looking shed. I wish we could build that big here without permit. We’re only allowed 100 sqft. As long as it doesn’t get cluttered with a lot of other stuff, 200 sqft makes a decent sized shop. When I rearranged my garage last year, I used shelves and milk crates to maximize space...

50/50 ATF acetone mix for stuck engine ?????

I always enjoy watch his stuff… I was a bit surprised at the results. Looks like liquid wrench was the winner after heat. I’ve found heat is the best to get things moving then any penetrating oil to wind out the fastener the rest of the way. I recently depleted my 10yr old can of PB...

    2003 Royal Enfield 500 Deluxe

Quite true about proper procedure for kick starting a bike. On my old 2 strokes it didn’t matter so much. Kick like a bugger and eventually it would start. On a 4 stroke engine it’s different. I never looked but do they tell you in the owners manual, the proper starting procedure for an XS?

    2003 Royal Enfield 500 Deluxe

Nothing like your bikes, but at a local motorcycle show last weekend, I saw a 350 Meteor in person. Looked like a fairly small bike - good beginners bike?

Getting the ‘57 beetle back on the road in 2024

More beetle porn. - brake drums painted with POR15 - repacked bearings and new grease seal - removed RF fender to install new beading (rubber trim gasket between body and fender) - removed 4 broken (rusted in) 6mm running board mounting screws (welded nuts to broken bolts) - “painted” bare metal...
