Carbs dont care about what pipes you run. Your engine does. Your engine will require more fuel to deal with the open pipes. You just have to rejet your carbs to accomodate. You have fuel paths in a Mikuni CVK carb. You have the idle jet, needle and main jet. Idle jet will need to be bigger...
Yes when I build a bike I have the finished product in my head and have usually sketched it a few times as well. The 75 graphics as a hole are my favorite graphics and I dd the tank the first time in the 75 graphics as well except after sitting for a day or two they all bubbled. So I peeled...
Sorry I am not sure what you mean about the sidecar decals. The scallops on the tank I painted on and they are just reverse from what you would tpically see on a bike of that era. Most side scallops are long on top and short on bottom. I just did the reverse. CHeers.
Finsihed up the paint and body work on my 78. I picked it up late spring last year as a non runner. After getting it going and mechanically sound last year I rode it for the season. I loved it and rode the hell out of it despite being dented and worn but thought I better give it some love...

Tires shouldn't really give you a speed wobble at a certain speed. If they are properly balanced they should be good up to their rated speed. What does give you speed wobble is the head geomatry. By changing the rear wheel size you will have changed the angle of approach of the front. So a...
Ride it. Just bloody ride it. What is the point of a nice clean bike if you just look at it. All of the tires mentioned are good tires. You dont have to have worry much on these bikes about sport bike levels of grip. Just a good brand of tire and away you go. Regular oil changes away you go.
