Both gears are symmetrical near as I can tell.... should fit either way. You might want to try both ways and let us know if you see a...

The shop manual shows you line the two arrows up for assembly... though I can't for the life of me figure out why. One gear has 4 lobes...

I drilled 2 discs... 84 holes per disc... with a single 1/4" drill bit. No pilot holes, just marked with a center punch and drilled...
