Early Carb/Float Bowl - Brass Drain Elbows Available

Guys, I have a lot of test, pre-production, samples, and "mess-up" fuel drain elbows from all of this work. If anyone wants all of this stuff, I'll let it all go for $50 plus a few bucks for lower 48 shipping. Thx. Paul.

Early Carb/Float Bowl - Brass Drain Elbows Available

All, Unfortunately this little 5 year experiment has ended. With labor costs so high these days, getting any of these elbows machined is impossible ($$$) at the scale Im working with. Its without question that injection molding is beyond my budget and I do NOT believe that 3D printed items are...

Early Carb/Float Bowl - Brass Drain Elbows Available

Update: I am taking this larger fuel crossover elbow to get the Solidworks file made so that this one can get 3D printed in Nylon. The brass piece probably wont be stepped (for simplicity's sake) like the original, unless someone knows that this stepped section is required. The smaller diameter...

Vapor Blasting - local Houston or UPS

Now Vapor Blasting not just here in Houston but mail-order for other U.S. cities. $75/hr for actual blasting time, no hidden fees. $25/hr to powerwash really dirty parts may be required. Send me a reply w/pics and I can always give a rough estimate for your parts. See some examples below.

I can 3D print them in Nylon 12. The full one may have issues pressing into the bowl opening so Im testing that. I can press in a brass piece so its a more factory style and the nylon will be white. Im going to do a run of a dozen (6 of each) and Ill attach the pictures of them in a few days...

These are the smaller ones but are there preferences on fuel resistant 3d printed vs. brass vs. aluminum machined square body? Mez

Mike, I cancelled the machinist work because Pete made his own and with prices of labor over here so high, there is really not enough interest to make these profitably at the moment. Thx.

Early Carb/Float Bowl - Brass Drain Elbows Available

I have pairs of the smaller drain elbows, my machinist is working on a run of the larger fuel inlet elbows. Not sure how brutal shipping is to the UK these days, but I can get a quote for the small ones this week. Or do you want to wait to get both sets? thx.

    Vapor Blasting Prices

Im in Houston, and with so much work with car clubs and bikes, I can still get by with $60 per hour. But may have to go to 75 by the end of the year. I use it for my own builds but paid of the 3k cost of the machine by doing outside work. I use the least aggressive media, so no metal is...

I have a prototype pair that measure slightly over 1/8" to press in to the bottom of any 1/8" bowl drain opening

Early Carb/Float Bowl - Brass Drain Elbows Available

Dan, My machinist will make a larger version to cover fuel inlet as well as carb overflow elbows. Do you have any thoughts on aluminum vs. brass? And square body vs. round body? Thx. This will help to hear back from a potential user. Mez

BTW, the squared off one is easier to machine, and made of aluminum.

Hey all, Any feedback on the looks or materials I'm testing here? Would take any constructive criticism or suggestions that might make sense to guys with more experience than me with the older Japanese carb parts. THX! Mez
