What have you done to your XS today?

Got her out of the shed Saturday and into the garage. Found out the battery wouldn't take a charge. She sat all last year. Didn't have time with all the work around the house. Bought a new Battery on Sunday and she fired up on the 3rd kick. Will need plugs and oil change after work this week...

Battery dead after a few days to a week of idle time.

Thanks for the input guys. Sounds likely the low water was the issue. Still concerned about the relay pulling sound when I connected the battery this morning. What battery would you suggest? It has already spattered on the tops of my side covers. Would like to get rid of the wet cell...

I did the 277 Pamco How-To / How about a regular Pamco writeup?

Punkskalar, I'm not ready for the 277 project yet but I'm in the middle of the standard Pamco ignition install. You'll see that I have had a couple of questions already. Mainly how to remove the old ATU mechanical advance unit and how to place/locate the new coil. I purchased the Part #14-0901...

    Help with 77-D fork rebuild.

I credit Punkskalar and his "How to" to get me motivated for this. I have stock 77-D and am taking on rebuilding the front forks for the first time. I doing this with the upper tubes stil in the trees. When I got the bottoms off I saw a narrowed section on each of the upper tubes. OK, here...
