Thanks ill give it a try. How should I messure the cable inside of the controls and inside the side case? Should I just run the string to the outside of the cases and just add on an extra 2 inches or so?

Well I'd have to rip apart the bars I have on there now and mount the apes to measure it, and thats what I was trying to avoid so I can continue riding today/tomorrow. I was kind of hoping someone with a similar setup could tell me what length they ran.

Had the same problem. Starter button didn't work at all when I first got the bike. But if I played with the throttle a little bit while holding the starter button in I'd get it to go. Sounds like a bad ground. Throw a new ground to the bars and try it. Cured my problem.

May be a good idea to check the alignment mark before you put the oil in. Was having the same problem, alignment was off. Corrected it and put some fresh oil in and I haven't had problems since.

Ya I liked one of his brackets so I emailed him to find out if the light I have would fit and never heard anything back. So I was going to buy the model a light and one of his brackets, but I can't find any pictures of the light on any bikes similar to mine.
