It was sucking air on my boots and since used some gasket maker along with the gasket to stop that. Hit it with starting fluid and had no problem. Its like when I turn my air screw I get no change. It will idle okay and as soon as I take off on it it feels like it's still sucking air but it's...
Any advice on jets in vm34 carbs on 77d with aftermarket cone exhaust and uni pods. Currently 25 pilot. 180 mains. Not running great idle is shit. And mid is not to great either.
Well got the new carb put on and it is running like shit. It's not dying but it is running like shit. It starts to bog out when I start to reach my rpms at my shift point. Idles fine. Starts jetting?
So went and look a lil closer at my carbs today and find that they are not the same carbs at all. I guess they sent me a vm 34 180 main jet and a vm 32 140 main. I believe this very well may have some thing to do with the poor performance of my bike
so i get the bike up to speed about 3rd or 4th gear and when down shifting i loose power and the bike dies. It is short and abrupt. almost like a clogged carb issue. i took them off to clean them and there was some gunk in them i recently cleaned out my tank and there was a lot of crud in it...
So today got on the bike rode out on the highway got into 3/4 gear and when I came to light and down shifted it list bower and died. The bike continued to do this all day. Took my carbs off and cleaned them. Still doing it. There was sediment in the carbs. Probably came from the tank I cleaned...
i think that they may already have been stretched. this winter they are comming out and getting replaced. what any one have any good tricks on flattening the surface of the bottom case. and they are at 35 and it is not leaking so idk.
so I got thre bolts torqued down to 32 lb on the big bolts and the others to spec. I am still getting a lil drip nothing crazy but still there. now i can go tighter correct? and would using a thicker motor oil be a option as well? I am using 10W/40 i believe now. what would be another option?
So tightened my bolts to 30 lbs. The bike needs to be cold to do this? If so I did it wrong second it's still leaking oil. And once I set cam chain tensioner I need to re set timing?
