    Love the Suzuki GS series. They have a unique sound. It's a shame you don't see that many of them around anymore. When I do the valves in my Kawasaki's I put the sizes and gaps in a spreadsheet which calculates the correct shim to use. That way you can see what sizes you need and what shims you...

    One thing to remember: almost all repop parts will be inferior to the factory originals. You are better off rebuilding the Yamaha parts than slapping on cheap replacement parts from China.

    The Brothers Karamazov - Dostoyevsky I read it in college when I was studying Russian History (mid 80's). My son challenged me to read it again since it's his favorite novel and he wrote several papers on it in college. I'm sure there will be a quiz on it later.
