A very bad person backed into my bike in the Home Depot parking lot and drove off leaving me with a fender mashed into my tire. Of course I didn't notice until I was riding home and saw my alignment was off and my tire was ripped up.
If anyone has a fender in good to excellent condition, please let me know?
Thanks in advance!

Hey Dumbmonkey, (cool name)

I have 4 of them. #1 is chrome with almost no rust.
#2 is primed and ready to paint,
#3 is a bit rusty on top but rubberized underneath, needs elbow grease.
#4has 2 dings, about the same amount of rust and a square profile. The others are all rounded.
Will send some pics if interested. Price is negotiable, you pay shipping. Cool?

Hey there!
Thank you for replying so quickly, I really appreciate the support of this community. I've been spoiled with a bike that was in such great shape, that I'm really hoping to find a chrome fender that is really clean. I know it's a tall order for a 35 year old bike, but a boy can dream, right? Could you PM me some pics of #1?

The fender has a small ding about as big as a nickel on the left leading edge. I never noticed it before scrutinizing it to pass on to you. The chrome still gleams there so it has not lost any of it's integrity. The rest of the fender is smooth and featureless with a soft powdering of rust typical for Japanese chrome of that era that has been kept indoors for most of it's life. A little chrome polish and some J--Wax ought to make it good.
I had figured that $50.00 was a fair price, but that ding kinda bugs me, and ultimately I don't know you would be happy with the looks of it. Then factor in 33 years for longevity and historic accuracy because the front fender is always the first piece to hit the dumpster. So what do you say...$40.00 for the fender, you pay shipping? Remember I do have a front fender that is sand blasted and primed, ready for any color in perfect shape. $100.00 incl. paint and clear coat.
