Finally finished my XS2

I say we're never done... I am planning a trip to France this summer. I'm going to drive my van down there with the bike in the back and go out on day trips from the campsite.
I'll need to take some spares.. so I'm thinking clutch cable, oil, chain, battery jumper. tubes, Anything else? I can take my whole toolkit as I'm in the van so that's not a problem.
I've also read that I should change the stock reg and rec? I can't find any VrR115 in the UK on ebay, is there a UK equivalent? Any advice on rectifiers?
 
.. sounds like you have all the basics covered for the m/cycle. Have you made contacts with the locals for ideas.. new ride'n buddies.
Years ago I did a day road trip in a car (914) around Verdun... the back roads remind'n me of Wisconsin farm country. We got a chuckle... they really do wear black beanie's (berets) and carry long loafs of bread.
