I was doing some research into homemade frame jigs and keep seeing people referring to the chopper handbook. It sounds like it was an old forum that had plans on a lot of things. Anyone know where it went? The forum page doesn't seem to work anymore.

Hmmm... I think I downloaded that site back when it was active (for future reference). I'll have to fire up my other computer (in the morning). If it's all there, I'll see if I can make it available (as long as I'm not in violation of any copyrights...). I have a few gems on the old beast that I need to back up to something a little more permanent, like an easy how-to for re-lacing wheels, building your own blast cabinet (capable of handling an entire frame!), etc....

Well, I fired up the old(er) electronic brain last night, and looked through everything on it (there's a few hours of my life I'll never get back), and the only thing I could find from "The Chopper Handbook" was my shortcut to the site (which we know doesn't work). However, over at the Chop Cult website, we're not the only inquiring minds. Several other people have expressed interest, so maybe somebody will restore that information. Sure, most of it is more relevant to the H-D crowd, but the fundamentals are all there. The last time I accessed that site, it was via my old IP, so I'm in the process of getting my old user name and password re-activated. I'll let you know if I have any success...
